The goal of each sports performance program at PSF is to create a sports-specific approach with the purpose to unlock each client’s athletic potential. Regardless of skill or level, our focus is to prevent injury by restoring function to the body, educate, coach, and mentor each client through his or her development. Whether working with golfers, baseball, softball or volleyball athletes, this philosophy is the defining quality that we bring to work each and every day.
At PSF, we have a saying: “Own Your Development!” We give you all the tools you need to perform at the highest level, but you must be accountable for your actions.
Performance Sports Farm is more than just a place to train, it's a place where like-minded athletes come to take their game to the next level. It's an ideology, a philosophy, and a family.
The focus of the Elite Strength & Conditioning Program is to develop a sports specific plan for each individual athlete focusing on these key components of development.
Overall Strength - an increase in total body strength in all 3 planes of motion.
Speed & Agility - an increase in stride rate, stride frequency and overall quickness.
Power Production - an increase in full body power output.
Positional Breathing - an awareness of our bodies asymmetry and how positional breathing techniques can bring us back to neutral.
Postural Awareness - an awareness of the body's posture during movement.
Mobility/Stability Patterns - an increase in both range of motion and the ability to stabilize during movement.
Kinematic Sequence - an increase in the body's ability to maximize efficiency in movement.
Mental Toughness - an increased ability to handle physical and mental adversity.
$360 for EIGHT (8) 1.5 hour training sessions. No membership required. ($45/training session).
PSF has partnered with and welcomes Pat Diaz's golf students to the Farm for Elite Training! PSF also welcomes athletes of other sports including volleyball, swim, lacrosse, water polo, and soccer, to train in strength & conditioning with us!
There are no refunds on session packs, nor do the unused sessions expire.
Currently, the Elite Training is held on Tuesday and Thursday, 4pm-5:30pm and 5:30-7pm.
Coach Andy Stucke has been a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS, D*) for over 20 years.
Graduated from San Diego State University with a BS degree in Exercise and Nutritional Sciences with an emphasis in Health and Fitness.
Graduated from Azusa Pacific with a Masters Degree in Physical Education with an emphasis in Coaching Philosophy and Trends.
Adjunct Professor in the Exercise Science Department at San Diego Mesa College.
Former owner of Point Loma Sports Performance and former co-owner of GolfStrong.
Former Strength and Conditioning Coach for the San Diego Padres.
Played Division I Volleyball at San Diego State University.
